For a bakery and coffee shop in Lagos, the challenge was to turn a name built on contrast into an identity that felt warm, product-led and anything but monochrome. Black & White needed a visual language with enough character to stand out, while remaining friendly, direct and instantly recognisable across every touchpoint.
The answer was a deliberately colourful system anchored by cream and burnt orange. Expressive typography brings energy, while simple iconography keeps communication clear. Together, these elements flex naturally across packaging, uniforms, signage, cups, bags, apparel, menus and everyday objects, creating a tactile world around the bakery and coffee experience.
Black & White promises a brand experience that feels as inviting and distinctive as the products it serves. From a cup in hand to a sign on the street, every application carries the same warm confidence: approachable, memorable and unmistakably Black & White, wherever customers encounter it in Lagos.
